On verso of title-leaf: ..- Manufactured in the United States of America The first 500 copies have an envelope pasted to the inside back cover containing a pamphlet, Notes on Ezra Pounds Cantos: Structure & Metrie (Norfolk, Conn., New Directions ), 15, [1] pp., incl. illus. (port.). 16-5 X 11-5 cm. This consists of two essays, “Notes on the Cantos,” by H. H. [ée. James Laughlin], pp. 5-12, and “Notes on the Versification of the Cantos,” by S. D. [ée. Delmore Schwartz], pp. 13-15. The second 500 copies were issued without the envelope and pamphlet.
