Published 8 October 1934 at $1.50; 1500 copies printed (of which 500 copies were used for the second issue in 1940). On verso of title-leaf: (Publisher's monogram]... Printed in the United States of America by J. J. Little and Ives Company, New York... The misprint in the list of books “by Ezra Pound” facing the title-page, “FONTANELLE” for “FONTENELLE,” was not corrected. Note: The first 84 lines of Canto XXXVI are Pound’s revised English version of Cavalcanti’s canzone “Donna mi prega.”
